Today we hung around the house and did several Christmas Activities. First up was a "Santa Look Alike Contest."
Aunt Nelda put Vaseline on Jocelyn's chin.

Then Jocelyn dipped her chin in a bowl of cotton balls and became...

Santa Jocelyn!

Santa Blayke!
(The older girls didn't want to get messy, so they didn't participate.)
This morning we baked a (sugar cookie) Gingerbread Girl. The kids don't like gingerbread, so we made a sugar cookie version instead.

They all had a blast decorating her with tons of candy.

Our finished "sugar cookie" Gingerbread Girl named...
GINGER!

Each of the kids also decorated some individual sugar cookies.
Jocelyn working very hard on her cookie.

Mia and one of her finished cookies before she...

ATE it!
While the kids played, Aunt Nelda and I made some yogurt covered pretzels.
We made vanilla yogurt covered pretzels and...
strawberry yogurt covered pretzels.
Once it got dark, we loaded the kids in the car with their Princess Wand glow sticks and headed to see more Christmas lights. (Blayke feel asleep on the way there.)
First we went to Virginia Beach and drove down the boardwalk to see the McDonald's Light on the Beach display.

The 40 foot tall Christmas Tree!
On the way home we stopped at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens to see the Garden of Lights display. This one was our favorite!
When we got home we had fun munching on all of the tasty treats we had made today.

Looks fun! So, who won the Santa Look Alike Contest? Jocelyn looks more jolly, but Blayke has more beard!
The treats look yummy-I'm off to go do some baking with the boys! Have a wonderful Christmas!
