Early Easter
Today we drove to Nana and Pop's house for an early Easter.
After spending the morning in the car, the girls were ready to have some fun at Monkey Joe's Bounce House.
Jocelyn and her CRAZY HAIR!
When we got back to the house, we had an Easter Egg Hunt.
Nana wrote names on the Easter Eggs, so they could only find the eggs that had their names on them.
Daddy hid all of Jocelyn's Easter Eggs and...
Mommy hid all of Madison's Easter Eggs.
We are so happy we got to spend an early Easter with Nana and Pop.
Thank you for planning the fun Easter Egg Hunt for us, Nana and Pop!
Jocelyn couldn't wait to start eating the chocolate candy that was inside her Easter Eggs.

Last Day in Virginia
We took the girls to play at one of their favorite Virginia playgrounds for the last time. Then we enjoyed lunch at Vancosta's before heading to our house for the final time.
We said goodbye to the house we have lived in for the last 4 years.
Madison's favorite things about our Virginia house:
-all of the space.
-having a big playroom.
-having our very own school room at home.
-having our very own school room at home.
-all of the pretty flowers in the yard.
Jocelyn's favorite things about our Virginia house:
- it was BIG.
- we had a playroom.
- I didn't have to share a bedroom.
- it was good shelter.
- we could walk to the water to see the ducks.
Clay got to spend the evening with all of the fighter pilots he has had the privilege of caring for the last few years. It is bittersweet "leaving fighter country."
We have enjoyed our time at Langley Air Force Base, but are looking forward to new adventures at Moody Air Force Base.

It's Moving Day!
The moving truck arrived at 8:30 a.m.
Madison decided to take a nap on the pads because she was still sleepy.
The girls enjoyed running up and down the ramp when the movers weren't using it.
We bought everyone pizza for lunch and had a picnic on the floor. The entire house was loaded onto the truck by 3:30 p.m.

Last Snow
The girls were so excited when it started snowing tonight. Madison started jumping up and down and thanking God for sending one last snow before we moved.
They are praying that more snow will accumulate over night.

Goodbyes
We took Miss Shayla out to lunch today. We are all going to miss her.
Then we spent the afternoon at a party to say goodbye to Clay's squadron. The girls had a great time playing with the other kids and we all enjoyed some yummy food.
We finished the night with one last stop to Rita's.

Packing Day
Today was packing day at our house!
I had to make some signs so that they wouldn't pack up the clothes we were taking with us and other items we still needed. ;)
Three packers worked all day and got most of our stuff packed. They will be coming back on Monday morning to finish up. Our house is full of boxes now.
The girls and I spent the day in the yard trimming trees and pulling weeds.

Snow Flurries
The girls were so excited when it started snowing today.
They loved running through the snowflakes and trying to catch them on their tongues. This might be the last snow they see for awhile. I don't think we will be getting much snow in southern Georgia.

National Zoo
Today we went to the National Zoo.
We had fun at the zoo even though it was very cold and windy.
We were thrilled to see the Red Panda.
Lots of the animals weren't outside because it was so cold.
The girls love pandas!
Modeling Meerkat
Silverback Gorilla
My smiling monkeys with the monkey!
Madison even found a dinosaur at the zoo!
We enjoyed our week in Washington DC. We are so proud of Clay for being one of the very few people selected to interview for the White House physician position. Although he did not get the position, we know that God is in control and has big plans for us as we move to Moody AFB in the next few weeks.

More fun in Washington DC
This afternoon we hopped on the Metro and...
went to the Natural History Museum.
Our first stop was the DINOSAUR exhibit!
Madison named every dinosaur we saw.
The girls loved seeing the dinosaurs!
We also stopped to see the Hope Diamond before we left.
Then we headed to Union Station for dinner and dessert.
The girls enjoyed seeing the replica of the Liberty Bell, since they have seen the real one in Philadelphia.
After dinner, we walked to the Capital.
