Thanksgiving 2013

Grandma and I did some shopping on Thanksgiving and got these cute bears to donate to sick kids in the hospital.

Time to eat.

The traditional cheese ball was turned into a turkey this year.  It was so cute and yummy!

The girls gave Uncle Kyle his Thanksgiving plate of a turkey getting hit by a softball.

Baxter enjoyed his first Thanksgiving.

It is always great to spend time with Great Grandma.

The girls love having Mamaw live here.

Then we went over to Nana and Pop's for our second Thanksgiving meal.  The girls got to help Pop in the kitchen.

Mimi and the girls.

Bill and Jean fell in love with Baxter.

So happy that we got to spend Thanksgiving with Nana and Pop.  We missed having Clay with us, but we were able Skype with him and hear about his Thanksgiving overseas.

Last CC before Holiday Break

The kids were playing a game while we waited for assembly to start at CC.

Today we got to make constellations.

The kids did a great job.

Mrs. Staci gave the kids a gift before holiday break.

Mrs. Staci and her CC group!

We like to monkey around.

Raisin' Cane

Today I took the girls to Raisin' Cane.

We decided to do the Mini Corn Maze that took 15 minutes, instead of the Big Corn Maze that took 45 minutes.

We also did the hay maze.

Then we took a hayride around the farm.

They had a cute little town set up.

The girls enjoyed playing in the little town.

They even went to church and read their Bibles.

Jocelyn found a horse in the stables.

Madison found a real horse and got to brush it.  She would have rode it if they would have let her.

We got to pet lots of animals.

We even got to see this baby that was born this week.

We got to practice our cow milking skills.

Got Milk?

It was a beautiful day and a gorgeous farm.

Jocelyn thought the big tires were cool.

Time to race the ducks.

The girls favorite thing was the corn pit!

I think they would have spent all day playing in the corn pit.

We will look forward to going back next year with Daddy.

CC Crafters - Turkey Candy Jar

Today we made Turkey Candy Jars at CC Crafters.

The kids used Thanksgiving stencils and...

colored on the Thanksgiving tablecloths while we waited for everyone to arrive.

It was rainy today, so we had to set up our crafting tables in the garage.

We had some older boys join us today.

We always have lots of girls that come to CC Crafters.

Time to start painting our pots.

Here are the finished Turkey Candy Jars!

Karis won Crafter of the Week!

We finished our fun with Pin the Hat on the Turkey!

Mrs. Staci wanted a turn, but the feathers were tickling her nose.

Another fun day at crafting.  We will miss everyone the next two weeks, but are looking forward to Thanksgiving Break.  CC Crafters will be back in December.
