School Supplies!

We have all of our school supplies for Ms. Hunter's Pre-K class!

Baby Turtle!

The girls and I were outside playing while we waited for daddy to get home. They were in the swings and I was pulling weeds. Clay got home and came out to see what we were doing. He started to help me clean up the backyard to come inside when he noticed a turtle laying in the rubber mulch. We have no idea how the turtle managed to get in our backyard. The yard in completely fenced in and there is just construction around us. The water is blocks away from our house. The poor little guy was far away from home.

Here is the turtle laying in the rubber mulch. He blends in pretty well.

Clay is showing the turtle to the girls before he takes him down to the water.

Thanks for visiting us, Turtle. We hope you enjoyed your time in our backyard. We enjoyed meeting you, but we hope you like your new home.

New Backpack and Lunchbox!

Madison will be starting school in just a few weeks at Longwood Elementary School. Her teacher's name is Ms. Hunter.

Madison was very excited today when the mailman delivered her personalized preschool sized backpack and lunchbox.

She decided to eat her morning snack out of her new school lunchbox.

Speech Update

Please be praying for Madison. She has developed a stuttering problem. The speech therapist verified it today at therapy and unfortunately there is no known cure for stuttering. The therapist has given me a variety of techniques to try with her. The stuttering has become consistently worse over the last few weeks. We are praying that God will heal her and will give us wisdom for how to help her.

Pizza, Pizza, Pizza!

Tonight daddy helped the girls make their own pizzas for dinner.

Madison is sprinkling the cheeses on her pizza.

Wow Daddy, what's next?

This is FUN!

Making happy faces on our pizzas.

Are they ready to go into the oven?

SMILE!

No peeking!

YUMMY!

Thank you Daddy for helping us make our own pizzas!

Our Day at the Day's Pool!

Our pastor and his wife have graciously opened their home for swimming on Fridays from 10:00-2:00. This is our second week going to enjoy the fellowship and FUN!

Isaac and Abi smiling at each other.

Madison loves her new "swimming buddy," Abi!

My two little fish in their floaties.

Isaac took his nap on my arm. Isn't he sweet!
I think we need a boy!

Trip to Niceville Park!

Today I took the girls to the Niceville Children's Park. It was very HOT, but we still had a great time!

Madison drove the Ambulance.

Madison is doing much better about going down slides, but she is still very cautious.

Jocelyn on the other hand swings and leaps down them. NO FEAR!

Jocelyn is yelling for Madison to come over and play with her.

Peek a Boo, I see you!

They loved playing hide and seek in the rock wall cave.

YE HA!

Catching some shade in the tunnel.

I knew it was time to go home when Jocelyn sat down in the shade.

Our Daddy is the BEST!

I bought the girls some new fingernail polish and of course they immediately wanted their nail painted. As I was painting Madison's fingers and toes, Clay decided that he would paint Jocelyn's.

Look at that concentration.

Daddy has many talents.

Thank you, Daddy! My nails look great!

Playground and Splash Park!

Sunday night we picked up a pizza for dinner and went to the playground and the splash park on base. We ate our dinner under the pavilion, then headed to the playground.

The girls love the swings, especially when daddy pushes them HIGH!
Madison tried the rings with help from daddy.
Madison and Daddy climbed to the top of the playground.

Once we got hot and sweaty at the playground, we headed to the splash park to cool off.

Madison loved shooting Daddy and Jocelyn with the water guns.

Poor Daddy is getting shot by Madison.

Super Madison and Daddy ran through the water.

Yeah, Madison did it by herself!
