Baby Turtle!
The girls and I were outside playing while we waited for daddy to get home. They were in the swings and I was pulling weeds. Clay got home and came out to see what we were doing. He started to help me clean up the backyard to come inside when he noticed a turtle laying in the rubber mulch. We have no idea how the turtle managed to get in our backyard. The yard in completely fenced in and there is just construction around us. The water is blocks away from our house. The poor little guy was far away from home.

New Backpack and Lunchbox!
Madison will be starting school in just a few weeks at Longwood Elementary School. Her teacher's name is Ms. Hunter.
Madison was very excited today when the mailman delivered her personalized preschool sized backpack and lunchbox.
She decided to eat her morning snack out of her new school lunchbox.

Speech Update
Please be praying for Madison. She has developed a stuttering problem. The speech therapist verified it today at therapy and unfortunately there is no known cure for stuttering. The therapist has given me a variety of techniques to try with her. The stuttering has become consistently worse over the last few weeks. We are praying that God will heal her and will give us wisdom for how to help her.

Our Daddy is the BEST!
I bought the girls some new fingernail polish and of course they immediately wanted their nail painted. As I was painting Madison's fingers and toes, Clay decided that he would paint Jocelyn's.

Playground and Splash Park!
Sunday night we picked up a pizza for dinner and went to the playground and the splash park on base. We ate our dinner under the pavilion, then headed to the playground.
The girls love the swings, especially when daddy pushes them HIGH!
