Science Experiments with Preschoolers

We are loving our new curriculum.  Tonight we got to do two science experiments with our preschoolers. 

They loved seeing the marshmallows expand in the microwave.

They got hard just like our hearts do when they are full of anger.

For snack they got to build a gate.

Then Miss Sarah helped us do the Mentos and Diet Coke experiment.

We don't want our anger to explode like that.  ;)

Happy Birthday, Mrs. Stephanie!

I helped the older kids make a banner for Mrs. Stephanie's birthday.

They each got to sign it and then we hung it in her office to surprise her when she got back from her vacation.

The younger kids had fun making "calm down bottles" for their craft.

1st Day of CC and MMO!

Today was the 1st Day of School of Classical Conversations!

Madison is in 4th Grade and starting Essentials!

Jocelyn is in 3rd grade!

She is going to enjoy her last year of Foundations!

Today was also the 1st Day of Mother's Morning Out! 

Mrs. Casey did a great job covering for me today while I was at the Staff Retreat.

 Not all of the kids were happy that it was the 1st Day of School!
