Our Week in Florida

Clay is in Washington this week for training, so the girls and I are hanging out at Grandma and Granddaddy's house.

We have been doing puzzles.  Doesn't Granddaddy look happy about doing a ballerina puzzle?

We have also played lots of games.  We introduced the girls to the game Classic Concentration.

We even made up some of our own games.  Nothing like cotton ball races after dinner.

We have also done lots of shopping.

We even took Mamaw shopping for a new loveseat.  She loves it and can't wait for it to arrive next week.

Memorial Day Weekend

We spent Memorial Day weekend in Sarasota with all of our family.

We are so proud of Daddy and his service in the USAF.  We have enjoyed having him home for the last two months, but had to say goodbye to him today for a few weeks.  He has a busy schedule of training over the next few months.

Goodbye William and Willie

Jocelyn was sad to discover that...
ants ate William and Willie.
They ate two little holes right through the cocoon.

William and Willie

Jocelyn found two caterpillars in the yard last week.  She put them in her bug box and named them William and Willie.
Jocelyn was excited to discover that Willie made a cocoon today.

The girls loved playing in these boats.

Jocelyn's boat!

The girls think Grandma and Granddaddy should get these for their pool.  ;)

We enjoyed eating peach tarts and homemade peach & blueberry ice cream on the way to the...

Daylily Festival in Adel.

The daylilies were beautiful and the girls found new hairbrushes with their initials painted on them.

Happy Mother's Day!

I am so thankful to be a mom.

One of my sweet girls grew in my tummy and...

the other one grew in my heart.

Madison helped make me breakfast in bed and made me a sweet card that said I was "sweeter than honey."  Her biggest surprise for me was doing a math page on the weekend/holiday.

Jocelyn helped make my coffee and brought me breakfast in bed.  She also made me a card that said she "loves me more than chocolate!"

We enjoyed our special day together.  I am a very blessed Mommy.
My Mother's Day gift should arrive tomorrow.  They bought me a black and white reclining wing chair for our bedroom.  I am looking forward to reading my devotions and Bible in the comfort of my new chair.
