Today we went to the quaint town of Smithfield, Virginia.

The girls enjoyed posing with all of the statues as we walked down Main Street.

We had a delicious lunch at the local bakery before shopping in several of the stores. The girls especially enjoyed making their own lip gloss at one of the shops.

Next we headed to the museum. The girls loved that you could actually touch a lot of the items in the museum.

They even got to dress up in the children's area.

We enjoyed a quick game of checkers at the general store.

We even got to see the World's Oldest Ham!

Here is the World's Oldest Ham!
(middle)

We also got to see the World's Oldest Peanut!

Just in case you don't believe us here is the Ripley's Believe It or Not Certificate of Recognition.

The girls tried to break into the Smithfield Bank. ;)

Next thing you know the police car arrives to take them to the court house.

Time to face the judge.

What will the punishment be?

Oh no!

Lock them up!

:(

Maybe this will hold her.

Then we headed to Darden's Country Store.

The girls got to get their first pumpkins of the season.

They wanted to bring home this super cute hay bale Jack O' Lantern!

We LOVED these HUGE hay bale people!

The girls had tons of fun running through the corn maze and playing on these cute cows. Madison is swinging her lasso. YE HA!
