Up in 3D

This afternoon we took the girls to see Up in 3D. They loved it!
After the movie we walked around Destin Commons. The girls decided that they wanted to take their picture outside of The Bass Pro Shop.

Madison was in deep thought.

Silly Madison!

Moving Update

Our house is officially on the market "For Rent" now.
The packing has begun.
The movers will be coming to pack and move all of the large items, but we have decided to move all of the other stuff ourselves.
Our schedule is getting a little crazy, so Madison and I sat down and made the girls their own calendar. Madison did a great job drawing a picture to represent every activity. Now they run out to the garage to check their calendar and see what they are doing each day.

We will miss....

Mr. Danny, Mrs. Megan, Tristen, Jeren and Desmond!
***********************
Tonight we met our dear friends at the Splash Park on base for one last outing before they head to Pennsylvania.

Daddy and Jocelyn snuggled after eating some pizza.

Desmond and I enjoyed swinging and watching all of the other kids play.

Madison was a little nervous about swinging on the tire swing.

She quickly discovered that she LOVED it!

Tire swings are the BEST!

Here is a video of Madison, Jocelyn, and Tristen riding the tire swing.

It was getting dark, but we played in the Splash Park for a little bit before saying our goodbyes and heading home.
*************************
We love this family and will miss them very much! We are praying that they have a safe and uneventful trip to Pennsylvania. We are so thankful for their friendship. We are looking forward to seeing what God has in store for them in Pennsylvania.

Beach and Splash Park

Today we went to the beach after Clay got home from being one of the doctors at the Gate to Gate Run this morning on base. It was a beautiful day to be outside.

Madison found a "tiny" shell to put on top of her sandcastle.

Jocelyn was ALL smiles!

We decided to stop off at the Uptown Station Splash Park on the way home to wash off all of the sand.

One Day...Two Birthday Parties...Three Kids

The girls and I had two birthday parties to go to today.

In the morning we went to Della's 2nd birthday party. It was a "Green Party!" You were asked to bring a gently used or re-gifted present, instead of something new that we bought from the store.

In the afternoon we headed to Crestview to the Speakman's house to help them celebrate Emily and Katie's 1st birthday.

Fun with "Mr. Manny"

Our friends stayed at our house for just a couple nights while they were in the process of moving out of their base housing and heading to Pennsylvania. Clay was out of town at a conference, so the girls enjoyed having Mr. Danny around to give them rides.

For some reason Jocelyn has trouble saying Mr. Danny, so she calls him "Mr. Manny!"

Introducing the Cute Couple

Tristen and Madison love to have pretend weddings everytime they are together. Madison looks for any excuse to get dressed up like a princess and Tristen likes wearing one of Madison's black hair bows on his shirt for a bow tie.

Bean Bag FUN!

Isaac came over for a little while this morning to play with Jocelyn. They spend about a half and hour just playing with the bean bags. Who new that bean bags could be SOOOOO much FUN!

We can't wait to see him again tomorrow!

Visit to the Principal's Office

Madison got called to the Principal's office to read The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Mrs. Weikel was VERY impressed at how well Madison read the story. Madison did a great job making her book. Here it is:

At least Jocelyn learned about a cocoon. Haha!

PT with Daddy!

Clay has been ramping up for his yearly PT test. Madison decided that it looked like FUN and wanted to join in.

Daddy made sure that she stretched first.

More stretching.

Out for their run.
(Mommy had to run down the street and save Madison when she ran out of energy. We walked back home together and waited for Daddy.)

Clay attempted to teach Madison how to do push-ups

and sit-ups. Too FUNNY!
