Madison's Ariel Drawing

Madison decided to draw Ariel (and Flounder) today.

She explained that she didn't have a blue crayon, so she had to make the water purple. The green on the sides is seaweed.

Bella Dancerella!

Grandma and Granddaddy got the girls this cute Bella Dancerella Set for Christmas last year. Madison LOVES it! She puts on her ballet outfit and gets her mat and wand ready.

Here is a video of her doing her Bella Dancerella DVD:

Ladybug Photos

We are going to have a "Ladybug" Birthday Party for the girls this year. Today I attempted to take some pictures of the girls in their ladybug costumes for the invitations.

Jocelyn just wanted to lay on the floor.

Then Madison decided to sit while Jocelyn stood up.

Wow, they both finally decided to look at the camera! It didn't last long.

The VERY Grouchy Ladybugs!

Madison decided that she wanted to be a ladybug outside and smell the flowers...

and help with pollination.

God bless the photographer for trying!

Toddler Tuesday

Taylor and Jude came over this morning to play. Jude hid inside the entertainment center until...

Taylor decided to close the door and squish his leg. Ouch!

Let me out of here!

Picnic Dinner at the Beach

We decided to pack a picnic dinner and head out to the beach tonight.

The girls were very excited...

until they saw that we couldn't get into the water.

After dinner Daddy was showing Madison...

this cool sand castle that someone built.

Jocelyn decided to add to it.

What a cutie!

Time to play on the lifeguard stand.

Jocelyn pretended to be a lifeguard and was looking to see if she needed to go rescue anyone.

Look I see a boat way out there!

Akers of Strawberries (Part 2)

Madison taught Daddy and Jocelyn how to pick strawberries.
Jocelyn picked her own strawberry!

Akers of Strawberries!

Today I went with Madison's class to Aker Farm in Baker to pick strawberries.
Madison loved showing me every strawberry that she picked.

She had to inspect every strawberry before she would reach in and pick one. They had to be perfect. I wonder where she gets that?!

She finally gave up and starting picking the strawberries out of my box to fill up her container.

After a picnic lunch we enjoyed some strawberry frozen yogurt. According to Madison it was "yummy in my tummy!"

It was sooooo cold that she became "frozen statue Madison." Silly girl!
We had so much fun that we are planning a trip back there on Sunday after church with Daddy and Jocelyn. Let me know if you would like to join us. The more the merrier!

Easter Egg Hunt Videos

One night before we left for vacation, we gave the boys their Easter baskets and had a practice Easter Egg Hunt.
On Easter afternoon Granddaddy and I hid plastic eggs filled with money in them for the girls. Madison found the $5.00 egg!

Easter Gift from Grandma Cathy and Brittani Ann

When we arrived home from Disney, the girls had an Easter package waiting for them from Grandma Cathy and Brittani Ann (Jocelyn's birth grandma and half sister). Here is the video of them opening their Easter package:

Surprises from Grandma and Granddaddy

Grandma and Madison modeling the cute light-up Mickey Mouse ears that Grandma bought them.

Granddaddy bought the girls this cute princess set.
Here is a video of Granddaddy surprising the girls with the princesses:

Our Day at Animal Kingdom

The girls loved getting to meet Pocahontas.

Then we went on the Safari.

It was a very bumpy ride, but I did manage to get a few good pictures of the animals.

Pony Rides

Fort Wilderness Resort had ponies that the girls could ride.

Jocelyn was waiting with Daddy for her pony.

Ride it, cowgirl!
Here is a video of Jocelyn riding her pony:

Here is a video of Madison riding her pony:

Disney World Videos

I took really short videos of the girls as they met each character at Disney World. If you watch the videos, you will notice that Madison has a nervous/excited habit that she does as she meets the characters, especially the princesses. Enjoy!

House in Virginia

Here is the video I took of the house we found in Virginia to possibly "rent" during our time at Langley Air Force Base. So many of you commented on the house and have asked me questions about it that I thought I would post the video so everyone can check it out. My camera automatically flips the directions, so you will notice that the video will start horizontal and then turn vertical and back. You will have to tilt your head to watch it. Sorry.

Our day at Epcot

Well we found out that Epcot is not the best place to take Madison and Jocelyn. There just wasn't much at Epcot that they liked. Needless to say we didn't spend very much time there.
The girls were a little cranky and wouldn't pose in front of any of the beautiful flowers at Epcot. But if you look closely at this picture, you can see a little head peeking through Grandma and Granddaddy.
Madison found a way to amuse herself while we waited for the buses.

After a much needed nap we had a picnic dinner out on the porch.

Yeah! Daddy is home from his conference.

We headed to the Chip and Dale Sing Along and Campfire.

We ate marshmallows and watched a movie.

Our Magical Night at the Magic Kingdom

Princess Madison

Princess Jocelyn

Our little princesses ready to go have dinner at Cinderella's Castle.

We have our ticket and can't wait to go inside and meet Cinderella.
Cinderella and her princesses in training.

The mice came around to each table to say hello.

The Fairy Godmother retold the story of Cinderella and sang some songs for us.
We had a great time at Cinderella's Castle.
The end of our time in Cinderella's Castle.
We then got into our comfy clothes and stayed to watch the Night Parade.

Much to our surprise we saw Cinderella in the parade.

What a magical night we had at the Magic Kingdom!
