No Training Wheels

Today we took the girls over to the base to practice riding their bikes without training wheels.

Madison wants to learn, but was so scared when...

Daddy let go!

Jocelyn enjoyed running alongside.

Jocelyn's turn to practice riding without training wheels.

We will keep practicing.

Hershey's Chocolate World!

This afternoon we went to Hershey's Chocolate World!

Nana and Pop let the girls pick out a special candy treat.

Then we watched the Hershey's Really Big 3D Show!

We all enjoyed the 3-D movie. The special effects were awesome!

Then we went on a virtual tour of the chocolate factory. The girls liked the dancing and singing cows best.

More Las Vegas

Here are some random pictures I took during our week in Las Vegas.

One night we went down to Fremont Street to see all of the lights.

The girls were pretending to be Mummies. ;)

Hoover Dam

On the way back from the Grand Canyon, we stopped by the Hoover Dam.

We walked across the Mike O'Callaghan - Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge to see the Hoover Dam.

Hoover Dam!

Grand Canyon West

We went to the Grand Canyon West Land of the Hualapai Nation!

We all got to see the Grand Canyon for the first time together!

Do you see the eagle?
(Hint: Look in the middle of the picture.)

We did the Skywalk!

We walked across the glass bottom skywalk and looked straight down into the Grand Canyon. They didn't allow cameras on the skywalk, so I didn't get any pictures of us on it. :( The girls were so brave. They even laid down on the glass with their Daddy.

We did it!

We loved getting to spend the day with Daddy at the Grand Canyon!

We got to see lots of different types of cacti.

Then we toured all of the different Native American dwellings.

Then we got on the bus and headed to...

the home of the Hualapai.

What amazing views!

Jocelyn wanted to climb to the highest point.

Daddy checking it out.

The girls loved hiking with Daddy.

Jocelyn and Daddy!

Silly Daddy. ;)

What a beautiful day exploring God's creation.

Daddy climbed the highest.

We got to eat our lunch while we enjoyed the beautiful scenery.

The girls!

The river running through the canyon and a bird flying by.

Daddy and his girls!

Then we went to the Hualapai Ranch.

Madison got a lesson on lassoing.

Daddy's turn to lasso.

Mommy's turn to lasso.

We decided not to lasso Norman. ;)

Daddy got to throw hatchets. He was actually really good at it.

Then they got thrown in jail.

Daddy got hung.

Oh no, Madison did too!

Jocelyn was all smiles during her hanging. ;)

We got to go on a wagon ride.

The girls loved the wagon ride through the desert.

The girls got to sit on a horse, but weren't old enough to go horseback riding.

Even though they didn't get to go horseback riding, they loved their day at the Grand Canyon.
