The girls did school in the hotel room and then we went outside to play on the playground.

Arlington Playground

Today we took the girls to the Arlington Playground. We had the whole park to ourselves.

The girls pretended this was an Ice Cream Store and we all enjoyed some pretend ice cream.

Madison had fun climbing the rope ladder...

Swinging into Spring

It was a gorgeous day outside today, so I picked the girls up from school and we stopped by Rita's for our first Mango Gelati of the season. After our snack we headed to Fort Fun to play. We had tons of fun swinging into spring!

Then we walked down to the fishing pier to look at the fish and birds.

It was so nice to be outside without our jackets!

Pier and Playground

Today the temperature reached the 50's, so the girls and I headed to the pier and playground after school. It was a beautiful afternoon to be outside.

The girls were a little bit afraid of the seagulls, so they decided to hold hands and walk towards them together.

Then they raced to the pier.

Jocelyn found some shells.

The girls were trying to see the fish swim by.

Madison found the most unsafe spot on the pier to sit.

The girls checked out the BIG rocks on the way to the playground.

We had a great time playing at the playground!

Fort Fun

After several days of rain, it was so nice to get outside and enjoy the beautiful Fall leaves and weather.

We took the girls to Fort Fun for the first time today.

We had a picnic lunch right along the James River.

Madison LOVES to swing!

We even walked through the Rose Garden.

Playgrounds, Playgrounds and more Playgrounds

The last few days have been spent playground hopping. Clay got home early Friday afternoon, so we headed to Hurlburt Field to play at the pirate ship playground. Then we stopped by the arcade at the mall for some more Family Fun.

Saturday morning I took the girls to Cherokee Park to play with some of the other doctor's wives and kids while the dads were golfing.

I can't wait to see what playground we end up at next!

Afternoon at the Playground

After school the girls and I went to Cherokee Park to play for awhile before we headed home for nap time.

Pirate Ship Playground

This morning we went to Hurlburt Field and played at the Pirate Ship playground.

Madison did an excellent job steering the ship.

Jocelyn couldn't see over the steering wheel.

Madison crawled through the hidden tunnels.

Madison was busy reading the map to find the hidden treasure.
