The girls were SO EXCITED that Tristen and Jeren were coming over that they decided to wait in the front yard to greet them.

Jocelyn got a little bored, so she pulled a leaf off one of the plants.
No wonder all of our plants are dying.

Madison got a little hot, so she went to rest in the shade of the garage.

Chilling in their chair!
(Yes, Jocelyn's sunglasses are on upside down!)

Once the boys arrived, we picked up chicken nuggets and headed to Cherokee Park for a picnic dinner and playtime.

After eating we headed over the bridge to the swing set.

Swinging Fun!

I made up a "Playground Scavenger Hunt" for the kids to do while we were there. They found a tree, leaf, and flower all in the same place. What a GREAT start!

Tristen found the boat!

Tristen was the first one to find ALL of the items on the "Playground Scavenger Hunt!"
GREAT JOB, TRISTEN!

I asked Tristen to draw pictures of additional things that I should add to the "Playground Scavenger Hunt" for next time. What a diligent young man.

Jeren decided to explore the fitness trail before we got in the car. We stopped at Sonic for slushies to cool off before we headed home to meet Daddy aka Mr. Clay.

Once we got home we took our baths and got into our comfy pjs. We laid out our sleeping bags and settled in to watch the movie "Cars!"

Yeah, popcorn and a movie!

Jeren decided to eat his popcorn with a spoon.

Wow, how much fun!!! I am excited for my kids to be a little older to be able to do stuff like that. Olin is getting there, and Mollee has a while. You are so creative. I will have to write that down in my book. thank you for being inspiring.
God Bless,
Rebecca Myers
What cute pictures! Leave it to Jer to want to eat popcorn with a spoon! Thanks so much for taking care of the boys, they love you guys!
