After researching our caterpillar on the Internet, we think it is a
Antheraea Polyphemus.
It will eventually turn into a
Polyphemus Moth.

The girls are enjoying taking care of the caterpillar. They go and pick him leaves and branches everyday. They get so excited when they see him crawl around or eat the leaves they picked for him. They are looking forward to watching the caterpillar make its cocoon and eventually turn into a moth.

Oh cool to know what it'll turn into! I loved caterpillars as a child, but never kept one long enough for it to turn into a butterfly or moth. That'll be fun for the girls!
