The girls want to wish everyone a Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Jocelyn was so excited about wearing her shamrock t-shirt that we made!

Shiny Shamrock Shades make the outfit!
The girls and I read this St. Patrick's Day book this morning before school. It is a really cute story about two kids that set traps hoping to catch a leprechaun. But they don't realize just how tricky leprechauns can be!

The story gave the girls an idea. They decided to make their own trap to catch a leprechaun.
They made a trail of shiny coins from the back door to the box. They put shiny things inside the box, since leprechauns like shiny things. They couldn't wait to get home from school and see if their trap worked.
The girls ran inside when they got off the bus to check their leprechaun trap.
They found a note from the leprechaun. He told them to follow the clues to their surprise gift he left for them.
Madison found the first clue guarded by Daddy. ;) We didn't want Daddy to be left out of all the FUN!
They found the second clue in the shower.
They found the third clue in their homework folder, but the leprechaun didn't do their homework for them.

They found the fourth clue inside Madison's closet.
Madison was excited to find the fifth clue under Mommy's pillow. It sent them...
outside to their bicycles where they found their green gift from the leprechaun.

Madison got some pony jewelry from the leprechaun.

Jocelyn was excited about her puppy dog jewelry from the leprechaun.

Looks like the girls had a ton of fun. Those tricky leprechauns visited Nana's classroom and messed it up. The next day, they wrote us a note and let us some leprechaun gold. Glad you had a fun day! Nana
How cute! You're such a great Mommy!
