Since our book this week is
The Best Nest, we decided to make our own edible bird nests.

All you need are chocolate chips, chow main noodles, and jelly beans.

First you need to melt the chocolate chips.

Pour them into a microwave safe container and heat them until they melt.

Once your chocolate is melted, mix in the chow main noodles.

Place the mixture in a greased cupcake pan. Then place the jelly bean eggs in the bird nests.

As you can see, Madison wanted a lot of eggs in her bird nests.
After the chocolate cools you can easily pop the bird nests out of the cupcake pan and eat them. They are messy but YUMMY!

What a cool idea! Do you need to put them in the fridge so they harden tho'? Seems like they'd be messy! But then again, just about anything turns into a mess with my boys! Fun tho'!
