Edible Traffic Lights

Since we are studying transportation this week and it is important for vehicles to follow the traffic signals, we decided to make edible traffic lights. We talked about how important it is to obey the traffic signals to keep everyone safe.
In order to make edible traffic lights you will need graham crackers, icing, and M&M's.
Madison was very excited to be making traffic lights that she could EAT!

First, she used a butter knife to spread white frosting onto the graham crackers.

Then, she placed red, yellow, and green M&M's on the frosted graham cracker.

After talking about that the green light means "GO," and the red light means "STOP," and the yellow light means "SLOW DOWN," Clay asked her what the blue light meant? She looked very confused and then he told her that it means "EAT ME!" So she proceeded to eat ALL of the blue M&M's.

The finished traffic lights. They were quick, easy and yummy.
