Clay had to work all day and night Saturday, so he got home at noon on Sunday and slept. The girls and I went to church in the morning. I was lucky enough to fill in and help Miss Kendra teach Madison's Children's Ministry class. After church we came home and ate lunch and laid down for a nap. When we woke up we got our beach stuff together and headed to the beach to meet Gammy and PapPaw. When we got there we set up our chairs and umbrella. The girls played in the sand for a little bit while the adults enjoyed the sun.
Splashing in the water with PapPaw!
PapPaw's little helper!
After having fun in the sand the lifeguard took the red flag down, so we decided to get in the water. We did some wave jumping. Madison had to say "1, 2, 3, JUMP!" for every wave. Jocelyn on the other hand didn't want to jump them she just wanted them to hit her straight on. She would raise her hands up and scream as if to say "Bring it on waves. I can take it." She has absolutely NO FEAR! Sometimes it is scary how fearless she is. After our time in the water we headed up to dry off.
It was such a beautiful day to go the beach. We had a great time. Thank you Gammy and PapPaw for a wonderful afternoon. The girls and I loved it. They came home and told daddy about how much fun they had. We can't wait to do it again soon. Maybe next time Clay can join us.

Awe how sweet! Aren't Gammy and Paw Paw the best? Thanks for sharing! That's funny about Jocelyn-she sure is fearless! Glad you had a nice time!
