Today was our CC Christmas Party!
The kids got to wear their pajamas to the party.
We planned a Birthday Party for Baby Jesus!
Birthday Cake for Baby Jesus!
The round cake represents that Jesus' love has no end.
The chocolate layer reminds us that we are sinful.
The red layer reminds us that Jesus shed his blood for our sins.
The white frosting reminds us that Jesus has given us a clean heart.
The green layer reminds us to grow in Christ.
The yellow decorations remind us of heaven.
The candle reminds us Jesus is the Light of the World.
We sang Happy Birthday to Baby Jesus and blew out the candles.
All of the kids enjoyed the Snack Station.
They got to eat YUMMY food and talk with their friends.
The M&M and Game Station was a hit too.
Each child got to fill a cookie cutter with M&M's and attach the M&M Christmas poem.
As you hold these candies in your hand
and turn them you will see,
the"M" becomes a "W", and "E", and
then a "3".
E is for the East where the star shone so bright.
M is for the manger where the baby Jesus slept at night.
3 is for the wisemen bearing gifts, with which they came.
W is for worship, Hallelujah! Praise his name!
Then they got to use their leftover M&M's to play Nativity Bingo.
At the Craft Station, the kids got to make a handprint manger with a fingerprint Baby Jesus.
On the back of the heart we put the following poem:
I used my hand to make a manger,
a place for Jesus to lay.
I'll use my heart so full of love,
as a place for Jesus to stay.
The Gift Exchange Station was a lot of fun.
The kids got to open which ever gift they were holding at the end of the Left Right Christmas Game Nativity Story.
Mrs. Staci was the STAR of the Gift Exchange Station.
Everyone loved dressing up in the nativity costumes and masks.
What a fun morning celebrating Jesus' birth with our CC group.
We wish y'all a very Merry Christmas!
