Colonial Williamsburg with Grandma!

Today we went to Colonial Williamsburg with Grandma!

We got to help in the kitchen making bread crumbs.

Then we got to go outside and feed the chickens.

We also got to help make some medicine.

Jocelyn is happy because all of her chores are done and it is finally time to play!

The girls LOVE playing with the hoops!

Here is a video of the girls playing hoops!

Madison spotted a horse grazing in the field.

The white horse decided to come over and get some love.

Grandma was SUPER excited to finally be going to the Virginia Living Museum!

Caveman Grandma and Madison are ready to see the dinosaurs!

We love the dinosaur exhibit!

We enjoyed walking the boardwalk and looking at all of the animals with Grandma.

We spotted this beautiful butterfly on our walk.

The otter put on a little show just for us.

Spending time with Grandma is the BEST!

Turtle Time!

We even got to touch a turtle and...

watch a turtle eat a worm!

The girls held Grandma's hand through the scary cave before we headed to the cafe for lunch.

Virginia Zoo!

Today we took the girls to the Virginia Zoo in Norfolk!

Madison wanted to wear her "giraffe" dress to the zoo to show the giraffes!

The zoo had a very cool splash pad with this HUGE granite ball that you could spin in the water. We promised the girls that we will wear our swimsuits next time and play in the water.

The zoo was filled with beautiful flowers.

Smelling the flowers!

Happy to be going to see the giraffes!

Our giraffe girl with the giraffe!

The giraffe and ostrich were best buddies.

We even saw Red River Pigs for the first time.

Time to ride the Rhino!

Sweet Sisters!

We got our train tokens!

Madison was so excited to get on the train!

Conductor Madison!

Daddy and Jocelyn enjoyed the train ride!

Zebra Jocelyn and Giraffe Madison had a great day at the zoo!

Home Days!

It has been so HOT, that the girls and I have stayed inside most of the week. The girls LOVE "home days!" We have played dress-up, played games, built with blocks, played pretend and of course done lots of art and school.

The girls now have their own special areas over their desks in the school room to hang their artwork and papers.

They both LOVE having their names and papers hanging on the walls!

This morning while Madison and I were doing some school work together, Jocelyn decided to practice writing her letters on the dry erase board.

She was so proud of her work!

Great writing Jocelyn!
