Herr's Snack Factory!

While we were in Pennsylvania we went to Herr's Snack Factory.

What a FUN (free) tour! We got to eat "hot" potato chips right off the line. Jocelyn was so excited that they gave us each our own bag of chips to take home. YUMMY!

Chincoteague Island!

We started our family vacation with a trip to Chincoteague Island to see the wild horses.

The girls were so excited when we pulled up to our hotel and discovered that there were horses at our hotel.

The girls couldn't wait to pet and feed the horses.

We headed to the Visitor Center to book our bus tour to see the wild horses.

Our little Junior Ranger is ready to see the horses.

It was so cool to see the wild horses up close. They were beautiful!

After the tour we headed to see the lighthouse.

We enjoyed going into town to shop at a few of the local stores, eat some dinner and get some ice cream.

We cooled off with a dip in the pool before going to bed.

The next morning we said goodbye to the ponies and drove to Pennsylvania for more family FUN!

Good Luck Mr. Lance!

Tonight we had Lance, Nyx and Jude over for dinner. It was the first time that they had seen Clay since he got home and it was the last time we would see Lance before he leaves for his deployment.

Lance loved the "Good Luck Mr. Lance" banner that the girls made for him. We are all going to miss Mr. Lance while he is deployed.

Clay and Lance were so HAPPY to see each other at least once this year.

Clay gave Lance a t-shirt that says "Good Medicine in Bad Places!"

Clay also gave the girls the gifts that he brought back for them from Afghanistan.

They each got a genie bottle. They can't wait to play Aladdin and pretend that they are Princess Jasmine.

The girls want to send POP some BIG birthday HUGS and KISSES! We love you lots. Hope you have a special day!

Goodbye Gracie!

We have truly enjoyed our time with Gracie, but knew that we couldn't keep her because of Clay's allergies.

Clay called and had Gracie picked up and taken to the local SPCA.

The girls were sad, but are praying that Gracie finds a new family and will be well taken care of and loved. She is one of the sweetest cats we have ever met.

Build-A-Bear Birthday Gift!

Today we went to Build-A-Bear with Daddy to use the gift cards that Mimi gave the girls for their birthdays.

Madison picked the white and gold horse and Jocelyn picked the black and white panda bear.

Thank you so much Mimi! The girls LOVE their new animals! Madison put a magical sound inside her horse and dressed it in a beautiful white and gold party dress. She decided to name her horse Magical Maggie! Jocelyn's panda bear is wearing a sparkle purple jogging suit and giggles when you squeeze her. Jocelyn decided to call her panda Mulan!

Virginia Living Museum with Daddy!

We finally got to take Daddy to the Virginia Living Museum!

He and the girls had fun together in the new dinosaur exhibit!

The girls had so much fun showing Daddy everything at the Virginia Living Museum!

Daddy's favorite part was the boardwalk!

We were so HAPPY to spend the day with DADDY!
