Madison's Photo Shoot

We had family portraits this week for the church directory. When I got Madison dressed, she wanted me to take her pictures.

Operation Christmas Child

This weekend Clay and I took the girls shopping to pick out items for our shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child.

Each of the girls got their child a new pair of shoes, socks, a package of underwear, toothbrush, toothpaste, lip gloss, hair brush, comb, hair bows, headbands, coloring book, books, ball, jump rope, yo-yo, harmonica, and balloon.

We wrapped our shoe boxes today and marked them for girls ages 2-4 years old. Madison wants to draw a picture to include in her box. We are also going to write a letter and include a family picture in each shoe box. We are praying that the shoe boxes we put together will bless the girls that receive them. May every child that receives a shoe box be aware of God's love for them.

Jocelyn's Best Friend

Jocelyn got to spend the morning with her best buddy Scrubs. Life can't get much better than this!

Mystery Can

During the next two weeks, Madison will be studying the Five Senses at school.

Madison and I got to decorate the Mystery Can that will be going home with a different student each night.

Madison chose to fill the Mystery Can with Jingle Bells. We wrote three clues to help the students figure out what was inside.
Clue 1:
They are used as a decoration at Christmas time.
Clue 2:
It is a Christmas Carol.
"Jingle all the way. Oh what fun it is to ride in a one horse open sleigh."
Clue 3:
Every time one rings an angel gets his wings.

Daddy's Girls

This afternoon we went to a playground near the water. After playing we headed down to sit by the water. Daddy got some special time with his girls.

Harvest Festival

The Myer's Family from church graciously invited us to a Harvest Festival.

The girls loved getting to swing on the tire swing.

Jocelyn enjoyed eating the hot dogs.

After dinner it was time to play some games. Madison had trouble remembering not to use her hands while playing the donut on a string game.

Jocelyn inhaled her donut in one bite.

It was daddy's turn to try.

Madison was very excited when she finally won peanut butter cookies from the Cake Walk.

Madison did her best to break the pinata.

Jocelyn desperately wanted to get to the candy inside.
