Thanks for Coming! Woof!

The girls were so excited to get the following email from their new Best Furry Friend:

Dear Madison and Jocelyn,

Thanks for coming! I really enjoyed your stay. I liked all of your hugs, kisses and love. You have the tastiest fingers and toes.

Sorry for running over you, the storm really scared me.

Write me when you can. Woof!

Licks and tail wags,

Gracie

The girls wanted to immediately write Gracie back. Here are their sweet notes to Gracie:

Hi Gracie,

I hope you like this note. We loved your puppy kisses. We sure miss you. I was a little scared when you made me trip though.

Love,
Madison

I love you Gracie, but we can't come to your house tomorrow. I really love you Gracie. I really want you to have a good time by yourself but don't forget me.

Love,
Jocelyn

Sunday

Sunday morning we were all dressed and ready to head to Covenant Life Church. We have enjoyed our special time visiting with my dear friend Holly and her family.

After church we got to see Miss Rohr. She is the 5th grade teacher at Covenant Life School.

Miss Rohr and I with one of our students. He is currently in Miss Rohr's 5th grade class. I got the privilege of being his Kindergarten teacher the year that I was pregnant with Madison. It is amazing how time flies. It was wonderful to see so many of my former students.

Thank you so much to the Cleveland Family for letting us stay with you this weekend. We had an amazing time. We can't wait to come back and visit again and get more snuggles. ;)

Our drive home didn't go as expected. We left Maryland around 3 o'clock, but we hit horrible traffic and weather. After driving for 3.5 hours and only going 100 miles, we decided to stop at a hotel for the night and finish the remaining 100 miles in the morning. I called several hotels until I found one with an indoor pool.

The girls and I had some fun playing in the pool while it was storming outside. We had a relaxing night in the hotel and rested up to finish the drive in the morning.

Dan and Maura's Wedding!

We are so happy that we could be at Dan and Maura's Wedding this weekend in Maryland!

The girls and I are all dressed up and ready to go to the wedding.

This was the girls' first wedding.

Madison loved her "tulip dress" with matching sunglasses and purse.

Jocelyn looked beautiful in her "turtle dress."

This is the bride's younger sister Gretchen. She was one of the Matron's of Honor. Gretchen carried in her youngest daughter. The little girl is holding the kissing ball that I made for the wedding. All of the bridesmaids wore their own little black dress and shoes. Then Maura gave them each a beautiful light pink wrap to use. What a great idea. Everyone looked beautiful.

The flower girls with the heart shaped baskets I made.

Maura and her father. Maura looked gorgeous in her dress!

The Wedding Ceremony!

The KISS!

Mr. and Mrs. Daniel and Maura Salins!

A tearful father daughter dance.

First dance as husband and wife! I LOVE her BIG smile!

Madison enjoyed all of the fruits and veggies!

Jocelyn loved all of the meat and bread!

The wedding cake!
Bethanne Garris cut the cake. It was so great to see her. We taught together at Covenant Life School.

The Litrell Ladies with the bride and groom.
Lori, Maura and I all taught together at Covenant Life School.

Me with the bride and groom! I couldn't be happier for them.

Maura and the girls!

Ron and Dee! (Dee is Maura's other sister.) They have three amazing kids...

Liam and Andrew!

We love these goofy boys. I was Andrew's third grade teacher.

Olivia is their beautiful daughter. I thought it was hilarious that the two little girls looked at the camera, but she didn't. ;)

Madison had fun dancing with the big girls.

The entire Barry Family!

Blowing bubbles on the bride and groom as they left.
What a wonderful wedding!

The Best Backyard EVER!

The girls were SUPER excited when we got to the Cleveland's house and they saw their AMAZING backyard.

Madison needed to rest up before heading outside to play. Our little Princess and the Pea. ;)

In one corner of their backyard is this cool wooden swing set.

In the other corner is the cutest little playhouse I have ever seen.

The girls absolutely LOVED the playhouse. It has it's own kitchen, picnic table and loft bed inside. It is a little girl's dream playhouse.

The girls also enjoyed the HUGE trampoline in their backyard.

Crazy Jumping Jocelyn!

This is the life!

Abby even took a break from studying for exams to jump with us.

Mr. Cleveland showed the girls how to play POPCORN!
Look at Abby POP! ;)

The Cleveland's Animal House

The girls LOVED the Cleveland's house for many reasons, but one of the biggest reasons was because they have some awesome PETS.

Abby has a cute bird named Clyde.

The girls got to pet his back when Abby got him out.

Clyde makes us SMILE!

Matt has a pet snake named Oreo.

We couldn't believe that Oreo shed his skin while we were there.

Jocelyn was the only brave one to touch Oreo.

The girls are in love with the Cleveland's dog named Gracie.

She is one of the sweetest dogs we have ever met.

Jocelyn and Gracie became Best Friends Forever!
