27th Squadron Christmas Party

Tonight Clay and I went to the 27th Squadron Christmas Party.

Clay's ugly sweater for the Christmas Party.

Doc Stu's 27th Squadron Ugly Sweater.

Here's everyone's favorite "candy man," Doc Stu.  This year he's forgone the sweater vest and musical tie and went with a beautiful burgundy-colored top, emblazoned with the 2-7 on the back and a festive poinsettia on the front.  Doc Stu might not be Santa, but he does know what every fighter pilot wants for Christmas this year--chocolate-covered "go" and "no go's."  Feel free to pick off these delicious fighter pilot treats from the sweater if you dare.  Choose correctly and your fun meter at this party will officially be pegged.  Choose poorly and you'll be asleep in 2.7 minutes and miss all the fun.  By the way, the first to take the bottles officially has a problem...and an ADAPT appointment tomorrow.

Doc Stu WON 1st place!  His prize was a gift certificate for 5 weeks of tanning and this trophy.  The girls are so excited that Daddy won.  Madison actually prayed at dinner that Daddy would win. ;)

We got this F-22 in the Christmas gift exchange.

The girls had a great night with Miss Shanice and made these cute reindeer Christmas cookies.

Squadron Children's Christmas Party

Today we went to the Squadron Children's Christmas Party on base.  The girls had a great time decorating cookies, making ornaments, getting their faces painted, bowling, doing a bean bag toss, and eating.

Santa even flew in on the F-22!

The girls enjoyed sitting on Santa's lap and telling him that they want a pony and dog for Christmas this year.

Jet Photos

Last weekend, we got to go on base and take pictures with the jet.  The girls and I enjoyed getting to see the jet up close.  Not many people get to sit inside this jet, so we were happy we got the opportunity.

Pictures with the Planes

Today we got our pictures taken with the planes on base.   The girls and I were excited to sit in the planes and get to see them up close.  We should be getting the pictures in a few weeks.  We can't wait to see how they turn out.
