Wilmington & Western Railroad

On the final day of our family vacation we celebrated Clay's 31st birthday with a train ride on the Wilmington & Western Railroad.

It was a beautiful day for a train ride.

Jocelyn was excited about taking her first train ride.

Madison and Daddy ready for the train ride.

The train stopped at a beautiful picnic area by the water.

We ate our lunch together and then hopped back on the train.

Daddy and Jocelyn rode together on the way back to the train station.

It was a great train ride with amazing views.
What an awesome way to end our family vacation!

Delaware Museum of Natural History

On the fifth day of our family vacation we went to the Delaware Museum of Natural History.

The girls had fun on the deer statue.

The girls really liked seeing the dinosaur skeletons.

Jocelyn made a friend. ;)

Madison and the birds.

The girls were a little scared walking on the glass floor over the ocean.

Our little pearl.

Madison chillin' with the dung beetle.

Madison's got the whole world in her hands.

The girls favorite exhibit was the Treehouse!

We even found our dream treehouse!
We took a picture of it so that Granddaddy can build it for us. ;)

Winterthur as a Family!

On the fourth day of our family vacation we decided to go back to Winterthur Gardens since Madison and I missed out on seeing it the day before.

Madison was so HAPPY that Daddy and Jocelyn decided to take us back to see it.

We had FUN riding the tram to the gardens.

The house was gorgeous!

The gardens were beautiful! We even spotted a butterfly on this pretty purple flower.

Jocelyn couldn't wait to show Madison and Mommy all of her favorite things.

Time to pump the water.

The girls LOVE the Enchanted House.

Our little Princesses in the Enchanted Castle.

The "Witch" House.

The headless giraffe is an upside down tree.

What a perfect place for a tea party.

The misting mushrooms were marvelous!

Misty Jocelyn on a Mushroom!

Daddy Troll was giving the girls a riddle to solve before they could cross the "Troll Bridge" and...

enter the gardens.

Madison wanted to take a picture of Mommy and Daddy.

Thank you Jocelyn (and Daddy) for taking us back to see Winterthur Gardens.

Winterthur Garden

The third day of our family vacation began with Madison getting sick in the hotel elevator on the way down to breakfast. Needless to say Madison and I spent the morning resting and snuggling in the hotel room. Daddy took Jocelyn to Winterthur Gardens.

Jocelyn enjoyed her alone time with Daddy.

Jocelyn couldn't wait to see what was inside the Enchanted House.

Princess Jocelyn in her Enchanted Castle!

Jocelyn is mixing her brew. ;)

Ta-da Turtles!

Posing by the headless giraffe. ;)

Jocelyn enjoyed her special morning at Winterthur Garden with Daddy.

Delaware Children's Museum

Madison was feeling much better by the afternoon, so we decided to go to the Delaware Children's Museum as a family.

We all LOVED the "Show Us Your Moves" exhibit.

You got to dance around and see yourself on TV.

The girls also pretended to be a doctor like Daddy.

Jocelyn did an endurance test. At 3 seconds she looks pretty good, but...

at 8 seconds she was struggling. ;)

The girls also go to be contractors like Granddaddy.

We were so HAPPY that God healed Madison and she was able to enjoy the rest of the day with us.

We finished the day with dinner in New Castle, Delaware.

It was such a nice evening to take a walk down to the water.
