We put the cocoon container outside, thinking that maybe it needed some sunlight to know that it was time to come out of the cocoon. Since it rained all day yesterday, I put a lid on it to keep it safe and dry. This morning when I went outside to check on it I found that the moth had finally emerged from his cocoon. Unfortunately, he got stuck between the container and the lid and died.

Moth Tragedy
We put the cocoon container outside, thinking that maybe it needed some sunlight to know that it was time to come out of the cocoon. Since it rained all day yesterday, I put a lid on it to keep it safe and dry. This morning when I went outside to check on it I found that the moth had finally emerged from his cocoon. Unfortunately, he got stuck between the container and the lid and died.

OH NO!!! :'( How sad!!! How did Madison take the news? Poor little moth; it lasted so long only to die at the very end! That's gotta be frustrating eh? Well, at least you still have Princess the pretty purple fish!
