Christmas 2013

Today we celebrated Christmas at Grandma and Granddaddy's house.  We missed Daddy, but luckily Ted the teddybear was there to take his place.

Grandma and Granddaddy know how to make Christmas fun!

We are so happy that the Barth family could join us this Christmas.

Caleb and Maggie with Ted.

Uncle Kyle and Ted.

Time to open stockings!

Lots of goodies in the stockings.

Time to open the Christmas gifts!

Some very special ladies got their Christmas gifts in these snowmen that I made.

Mamaw and her snowman!

The girls made special plates and mugs for everyone this year.

Madison was super excited to get a Kindle in a cool horse carrying case.

Jocelyn was thrilled with her iPad mini.

Sister and Brother

Uncle Kyle loves Baxter.

My sweet brother got me a new flat iron.

We got Kyle a new television for his bedroom.

We went over to Mamaw's to open the gifts from her over there.

Mamaw gave Maggie a ruby ring.

It was a ring that Papaw had given to Mamaw years ago and now she is passing it on to Maggie.

Mamaw gave Caleb Papaw's bible.

Jocelyn has loved having Snickers here to snuggle.

Mamaw got her kids frying pans.

Watch out!

Mamaw got Kyle a pocket hose.

Mamaw got Clay and I some green ceramic pans.

Debbie and Caleb

Granddaddy had a "mystery gift" available today.  Madison is the only one that decided to trade her gifts to get the "mystery gift."  She haggled with Granddady and ended up getting the "mystery gift" for 4 gifts and 4 kisses.

Madison was hoping that it was something to ride.

She decided that no matter what it was, she would share it with her sister.

Jocelyn wanted to pose with the box before Madison tore into it.

Pure JOY!

Even though it wasn't a real pony like she wanted, she was happy.

Everyone voted and we named her Hope.  Madison can't wait to put Hope in her bedroom next to her bookcases and lay on her while she reads.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas from our family to yours!

Madison

Jocelyn

Please join us in praying for our troops and their families this Christmas.

Clay has been deployed for two of the last three Christmases.

Baxter's 1st Christmas Eve

This year is Baxter's 1st Christmas!

We are so happy that he is part of our family.

He likes wearing his Christmas sweater and playing with his new snowman toy from Grandma Cathy, Brittani and Stella.

 Happy 1st Christmas Eve, Baxter!

All the excitement of Christmas Eve wore him out.  He is resting up for his 1st Christmas tomorrow.
