17 Years Later

17 years ago today we got married!

Our 12th Anniversary

Today is our 12th Anniversary!

Clay sent me with flowers on Friday.

Even though we can't be together this anniversary, we have a lot to be celebrate.

New Hampshire

My parents had a wonderful trip to New Hampshire celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary.

They got to visit with friends.

They got to spend time together.

They got to enjoy the gorgeous scenery.

We are excited because we have been invited to join them on their next trip to New Hampshire.  

Road Trip

Clay and I celebrated our 11th anniversary with a road trip to Valdosta, Georgia.  We spent the day checking out the area and looking for houses.  We are all looking forward to our upcoming move.  

Today we finished the long drive home to Virginia and we stopped at South of the Border for the first time.  

Happy 39th Anniversary!

 Tonight Grandma and Granddaddy went out to dinner to celebrate their 39th anniversary.  

We decided to use our towel folding book to make them a special anniversary surprise.

Grandma and Granddaddy loved the heart and swans on their bed when they got home.  The girls even put chocolates on their pillows.

10th Anniversary in Sanibel!

Grandma and Granddaddy were kind to watch the girls so that Clay and I could get away for a few days to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary.

We stayed at the Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort and Spa.

We had fun walking the beach and picking out shells to take back to the girls. Unfortunately, we saw lots of dead fish because of Red Tide.

We enjoyed some beautiful sunsets!

It is hard to believe that it has been 10 years already. We are looking forward to many more years together.

Grove Park Inn

Today Clay and I celebrated our 9th Wedding Anniversary!

My sweet husband planned a romantic overnight getaway for us at the Grove Park Inn. Thank you so much to Nana and Pop for watching the girls for us. This was the first time that I had ever left Madison overnight. (The picture is a replica of the Grove Park Inn made out of gingerbread.)

The Grove Park Inn upgraded our room as a thank you for Clay's military service. Our suite was AMAZING!

Yes...we had a Christmas tree in our room!

The annual Gingerbread House Competition was on display. This was the second place winner. We love Noah's Ark!

As part of our Military Appreciation Package we got Spa Day Passes. Clay and I enjoyed getting to relax at The Spa. We had a great time just enjoying each others company and ordering room service in our amazing suite. I can't think of a better way to celebrate 9 years of marriage.

Today we want to wish Grandma and Granddaddy a very Happy 37th Anniversary! We LOVE you!!!

Our 8th Wedding Anniversary

Today Clay and I are celebrating our 8th wedding anniversary.

It is definitely difficult to be so far away from my husband this year for our wedding anniversary. We will have to plan something special for next year's anniversary once he is home from his deployment.

Luckily, my parents are still here and we are planning to celebrate my anniversary by going to Outback tonight for dinner. I love not having to cook on my anniversary.

Our 7th Wedding Anniversary!

Clay and I are blessed to be celebrating our 7th Anniversary today. My parents are still in town, so they are watching the girls so that Clay and I can go out this evening to celebrate with dinner at The Melting Pot.
