Valentine's Day

We celebrated Valentine's Day the night before.  The girls and I were fresh out of the shower and in pajamas when Daddy got home from work and was ready to start the celebration.

Madison was so excited to get the Brave play set that has been on her wish list.

Jocelyn couldn't believe that she finally got the Polly Pocket car that was on her Christmas List, but she didn't get.

The girls LOVE their Daddy!  They got him some candy for his upcoming travels and two new books that he wanted.

Daddy surprised us by bringing home CUPCAKES!!!

We celebrated my 34th Valentine's Day Birthday too!

The girls actually blew out my candle before I did.  ;)

So we tried again.  This time we did it all together.
(It is definitely not our most attractive picture with open mouths, wet hair and no make-up.)

We spent Valentine's Day in the van driving down to Florida for Papaw's funeral.

After the long drive, Madison decided to jump in the pool as soon as we got to Grandma and Granddaddy's house.

Papaw

Today Papaw went to be with the Lord.

He suffered a stroke right after Christmas and lost use of his left side.  Although the girls will miss Papaw, they are happy that he will have a new body in heaven.
Please pray for Mamaw as she adjusts to life without Papaw.

Jocelyn Lost Her 1st Front Tooth

Jocelyn's front tooth was barely hanging in there.

She was so brave and let me pull it out right before lunch today.

Jocelyn lost her 1st front tooth!

Now we just need to lose the other front tooth.

Random Silliness

We love playing games!  Last night, our game of Hedbanz turned into Limbo.

We also enjoy doing puzzles.  For some reason, Madison has decided to wear a baseball cap like Uncle Kyle these days.

Madison is doing a great job learning her multiplication facts.  She has been having trouble memorizing a few of them, so I taped the difficult multiplication facts to her and she wore them around and practiced them all day.  She knows the multiplication facts now and thinks her Mommy is super silly.  ;)

After school, Mackenzie came over for a Masquerade Tea Party!

Aunt Sherry & John's Wedding

My mom's older sister, Sherry and John traveled from Washington to Florida to get married.

The ceremony took place at the nursing home where Papaw lives now after his stroke.

Here they are saying their vows.

The kiss!

Mr. & Mrs.

What a blessing that Mamaw and Papaw could be at the wedding.

1st F-4 Flight

Today Clay got to fly the F-4 for the first time.

He got to fly aerobatics en route to Moody AFB.

Wacky Weather and Wreck-It

We have had some crazy weather here in Virginia.

The girls wanted to play outside in their tents, so they collected sticks to put on their tents to keep them from blowing away in the crazy wind.

Last night, it was so windy that it blew the door off of our outdoor storage cabinet.
This week the girls took their Stanford Achievement Tests.  We usually take the test in March/April, but decided to take it early this year before we move.  The girls are glad their testing is done and were ready to mail it back to get scored.

After we mailed our tests off, we went to the movies to watch Wreck-It Ralph to celebrate.
