Day at the Beach

 The girls loved spending the day at the beach.

 It is hard to believe that my babies aren't babies anymore. 

 Madison is turning 7 years old this week.  

 Jocelyn is turning 6 years old in just a few weeks.

We LOVE Daddy because...

he goes to church.

he is nice.

he is a doctor and heals people.

he likes to take us golfing.

he gets Krispy Kreme donuts.

he takes us to FUN places.

he loves the Lord.

he makes us happy when he does funny stuff.

he plays Barbies with us.

he cooks yummy chicken.

Emerson Point

Today we went to Emerson Point Park in Palmetto, Florida.  

The girls were excited to see the Skyway Bridge across the water.

We enjoyed walking the boardwalk.

It was fun to see all of the different plants and animals.

The roots of the trees were amazing.

We enjoyed hanging out in the trees.

G Wiz

 Today we took Daddy to G Wiz.

 Jocelyn loved playing all of the instruments, especially the harp.

 There are so many cool things to see and do. 

 Madison made her own dinosaur movie.

 Daddy enjoyed trying to teach us about all of the medical stuff.

 The girls even got to touch a blue-tongued skink.

We are so happy that Daddy could come and spend the week with us in Florida.

Luau

Today we went to visit Great Grandma and attend a Luau at her complex.

 The girls wore their hula girl outfits that Daddy sent them from Hawaii.

The girls got hula lessons. 

Granddaddy even got a turn to hula dance.

Early Celebrations

 Today we had an early birthday celebration for Clay, Madison and Jocelyn.  The girls are going to miss being with Daddy this year for their birthdays, so we decided to celebrate early while we were together.  

 We also celebrate Father's Day early with Daddy!

 We gave Daddy an Air Force blanket to take with him when he deploys.  

Madison was excited that she got to open three gifts before her real birthday.  She wants to have a dinosaur party this year for her 7th birthday.

 Jocelyn wants to have a pool party this year for her 6th birthday.

 Madison got SMATH!  A great way to practice her math facts this summer.

 Jocelyn is looking forward to making very silly sentences with her new game.

Ever since we got her a Daddy Doll before Clay's last deployment, she has been begging for a Mommy Doll.

 Jocelyn got a new and improved Daddy Doll.  It has Major Daddy in a flight suit.

The girls loved making their Mommy and Daddy Dolls kiss!  ;)

The girls also got new Barbie scooters.

 After a delicious steak dinner, we enjoyed birthday cupcakes for dessert.

Snooty

This morning we went to visit Mamaw and Papaw.

 Then this afternoon, we took the girls to the South Florida Museum to meet Snooty!

 We are so happy that Daddy is here with us.

 The girls enjoyed seeing everything in the museum.

 Clay and I were just as excited to see Snooty as the girls.  We both remember going to see Snooty on field trips as kids.

 Snooty will be celebrating his 64th birthday on July 21st.
