Day 1 - The Magic Kingdom

We are all excited and ready to head to the Magic Kingdom!

Madison loved taking the boat over to the Magic Kingdom.

It was pouring down rain when we got there. Thank goodness for ponchos.

We got to meet Ariel!

Ariel is Jocelyn's favorite princess!

Time to ride Dumbo!

Madison was happy that Daddy's conference didn't start until later, so he was able to spend the morning with us at the Magic Kingdom.

Our Wild Animals

We love Tigger and Pooh!

Jocelyn enjoyed the Daddy ride best!

Pinocchio

My little princesses with Sleeping Beauty.

Cinderella is Madison's favorite princess.

Belle is my favorite princess.

Belle was in love with Jocelyn. She called her the "cutest little teacup" and...

gave her a big kiss which she didn't wash off all day!

We headed back to the cabin to get dressed to go watch Daddy compete in the Quiz Bowl. He was one of three doctors on the Air Force team competing against other doctors from the Navy and Army.

We were so proud of Daddy for getting 2nd place in the Quiz Bowl.

We were so happy that Grandma and Granddaddy could be with us at Disney World!

The Day We Arrived at Disney World

We arrived just in time to check into our Ft. Wilderness Cabin at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. Madison loved our little "cabinet."

Clay and Lance arrived shortly after I finished unloading and unpacking everything. Great timing boys! They decided to wear the Princess hats that the girls bought with their Easter money from Nana and Pop.

We then went out to dinner with Lance and checked out the crazy upside down building. We headed back to the cabin to rest up for our first day at the theme parks. Stay tuned...

House Hunting

My dad and I flew up to Virginia from Orlando last week. We spent four days house hunting around Langley Air Force Base. We learned a lot about the area and got a feel for where we would want to live and areas to avoid. Although we did not finalize a place to live when we move there this summer, we did find one possibility.

This is a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath house that seems to have a lot of potential for our family. It is less than 8-10 minutes from base. It is also only one block from the water.

It has beautiful hardwood floors and amazing woodwork and built-ins. It has a room that we can use for a playroom that leads to an outdoor covered patio. It also has a room that we can use for a homeschool room. We are praying for God's direction on whether or not this is the house that He has for us.

"Egg"stravaganza

Daddy and Grandma took the girls to an "Egg"stravaganza in Sandestin on Saturday.

Jocelyn was very excited that her friend Jude was there too.

The girls loved meeting the Easter Bunny and showing him their Easter Bunny baskets.

Madison got a purple and pink flower painted on her face.

Jocelyn got a blue ladybug.

The lady on the stilts made them balloon flowers.

Then they headed to the airport to pick Granddaddy and I up from the airport.

Easter Egg Hunt at School

Grandma took the girls to the Easter Egg Hunt at school last Friday, while I was still in Virginia house hunting.

The kids had made these cute bunny baskets out of milk jugs.

Jocelyn was excited to be a visitor in Madison's class.

Madison did a great job finding the eggs.

Jocelyn enjoyed the juice and cookie after the egg hunt.

Happy Easter!

We made it home just in time for Easter.

Jocelyn loved seeing the Easter Bunny at the Officer's Club after church. (Madison was scared of the funny looking blue bunny.)

We were so happy that Grandma and Granddaddy could be with us for Easter.

Our (very windy) Family Easter Picture

Happy Easter!
