Philadelphia Zoo and Museum of Art!

The girls were excited to go to the Philadelphia Zoo.

They couldn't wait to see all of the animals.

It is America's First Zoo!

Smiling Jocelyn Monkey!

Silly Monkey Madison!

Being snakes to scare Mommy!

Jocelyn drew a snake and Madison drew a peacock!

The bunnies had their own little town.

We even got to pet them.

We also got to brush the goats.

The goats loved all of the attention.

Madison loved getting to ride Nancy the pony. She couldn't wait to call Grandma and tell her that she rode a pony with the same name as her.

Jocelyn got to ride Buddy!

The peacocks were beautiful!

We enjoyed our time at the Philadelphia Zoo.

After the zoo, we went to the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

We got to see a lot of amazing pieces of artwork.

We are looking forward to celebrating the 4th of July tomorrow.

Philadelphia!

Today we headed to Downtown Philadelphia for Clay's birthday.

The last time we were there was when Madison was only 6 months old.

Madison was looking forward to seeing Constance the Constitution Cow, but unfortunately we found out that Constance had been auctioned off and was no longer there.

She had to settle for the Phillies mascot, which as you can tell from her face, she wasn't thrilled with. ;)

The girls enjoyed seeing random people dressed up throughout the city.

We went on a tour of the United States Mint.

We also got to walk through Chinatown on our way to the Reading Terminal Market.

Madison got a tasty fruit filled crepe for lunch.

Jocelyn ate the famous Philadelphia pretzels. We all loved eating lunch at the Reading Terminal Market. There were so many options.

After lunch we went on a tour of Independence Hall.

We all enjoyed seeing history up close.

The girls were excited to see the Liberty Bell!

The city of brotherly love became the city of sisterly love!

Once we got back to Chestnut Hill, we celebrated Daddy's 32nd birthday with some cupcakes from the local bakery.

After the parade, we enjoyed two other fabulous shows.

The kids loved singing and dancing along.

We changed into our swimsuits and enjoyed the water rides to cool off.

The girls wanted to dry off on the swings. ;)

Picking their ponies on the carousel.

We finished our fun at Sesame Place with a special snack. Madison LOVED her Elmo cupcake!

Jocelyn ate Cookie Monster's cookies!

We picked up sandwiches from McNally's Tavern for dinner. Clay and I shared their famous "SCHMITTER" sandwich. We ate our dinner at the local wooden playground and then enjoyed walking the streets of Chestnut Hill.

The girls wanted to get their picture taken with every statue we passed.
