Going to G-Force

Clay found a playground that is relatively close to our house, so we went to check it.

Clay and Lance had to stay late tonight at the hospital for a meeting, so Nyx and I decided to take the kids to see G-Force at the Cinema Cafe. Madison LOVED it! Jocelyn and Jude had trouble following the plot and therefore it didn't hold their attention. Thank goodness that we had food to occupy the little kids.

Family of Four!

The first weekend after we brought Jocelyn home, we took the girls to the Navarre Zoo.

It was our first outing as a family of FOUR!

G is for Goggle and Glass

Ever since we started homeschooling the girls have been asking when we can have a pajama day. Tristen told him that one of the best things about homeschooling is that you can stay in your pajamas all day. I decided to surprise the girls this morning and let them wear their "green" pajamas for the day since it is "Gg" Week!

The girls were very excited to find out what was inside their "Alphabet Mystery Bags" today.

G is for Goggles!

Madison can't wait to go to the pool and try out her goggles.

After we finished our phonics lesson, we had Goldfish for our Gg snack!

We used our window markers and crayons today to write our "Gg's on Glass." The girls can't wait for daddy to come home and see their Gg's and artwork all over the glass.

Goodbye Nana and Pop!

Nana and Pop left early this morning to get back to North Carolina. Thank you for coming to visit us. We will look forward to your next visit at Thanksgiving!

Williamsburg with Nana and Pop

Nana and Pop got here yesterday afternoon.

This morning the girls and I went with Nana and Pop to find the house that they lived in 32 years ago in Newport News, Virginia.

Nana and Pop brought the girls these cute shirts. It's fun to be THREE and FOUR!

We drove to Williamsburg to check out where Nana and Pop will be staying when they come for Thanksgiving. We enjoyed an outdoor lunch at The Cheese Shop in Downtown Williamsburg.

Bounce House

Clay and Lance had to work today doing back to school physicals. Nyx and I decided to take the kids to the Bounce House in Newport News.

Nyx had to take Jude on a few of them before he decided it was FUN and he could do it himself!

Jocelyn and Jude collided.

Painting our Oatmeal Oo's

The girls went over to play with Nyx and Jude this morning so that I could run some errands. I am so grateful for babysitting swap. As much as the girls love going to Jude's house, they couldn't wait to get home and paint their Oatmeal Oo's.

We got them all set up to paint when they got home.
By the way, we finally got a table for the kitchen. Thank you, Grandma for finding this table for us at Target.com. It worked out perfect!

Jocelyn painted her Oo's blue and purple.

Madison painted her Oatmeal Tower pink, purple and yellow, so that it will match her bedroom.

I attempted to make a butterfly and ladybug for the girls out of the Oatmeal circles. They loved them!

Ever since we moved in Clay has wanted a swing for the covered patio outside. When he was at Lowe's the other day he saw that this swing was on clearance.

Madison helped Daddy put it together last night and hang it on the patio. Who wants to swing?
