Afternoon with Isaac

This afternoon Isaac got to come over to play with us.

He loves crawling after the girls and playing with whatever they have. The girls love showing him and teaching him new things. He is learning a lot about Princesses and dress-up. Luckily they haven't tried to dress him up like a princess. Maybe they are saving that for tomorrow.
We are loving our time with Isaac!

But Mom, I Don't Want to Move!

In preparation for our upcoming move (and many more in the future) , I am reading:

I am looking forward to sharing the highlights from each chapter on the blog. Hopefully this will serve many of our friends that are also preparing for a move.

High Five

Madison was VERY excited that she got her own magazine in the mail today. She immediately went and sat in Daddy's chair to read her magazine.

She got the High Five magazine subscription for Christmas from Mimi (Clay's grandmother). It is a great magazine for preschoolers.

Chilling with Isaac

Since Wendi has to stay in the hospital for a few more days, we got to hang out with Isaac today. The girls and I love having him. He enjoyed being the man of the house today while Clay was at work. Isaac enjoyed chilling in Clay's new "man chair" with is mini Scrubs.
As much as we are praying that Wendi feels better soon and get to come home, we are enjoying our extra time with Isaac. The only thing that would make it better would be if we had Elijah too. We are looking forward to the day that we get to watch both of the boys!

Happy 37th Birthday, Ms. Keisha!

We recently got an email from Ms. Keisha (Jocelyn's birth mother) letting us know that she was getting ready to celebrate her 37th birthday. We decided to make a "Happy Birthday" video to send to her from Jocelyn. Here it is:

We got an email back from Ms. Keisha saying that the video from Jocelyn was by far the best birthday gift she got. We are so glad that she enjoyed the gift, especially since she gave us such an amazing gift by allowing us to adopt Jocelyn.

Mr. Al Concert

Today I went with Madison's class to the Mr. Al concert. It was a great concert for preschoolers. Unfortunately, Madison wasn't feeling well. She had been up most of the night coughing. We had great seats though. We got to sit in the 3rd row. It was a little too close for Madison. Since she has such sensitive hearing, she thought it was way too loud. She covered her ears for most of the concert.

Visiting Baby Elijah

This morning I went to visit John, Wendi, and Elijah at the hospital. Elijah is a very handsome little man. I loved getting to hold him and snuggle him. John is going to be updating their blog later today with pictures and the whole birth story.
