Big Red Barn

This week's book packet is the Big Red Barn. We used the box that Nana and Pop sent our Halloween package in to make our very own "Big Red Barn." We had a great time painting the box red last night after dinner. Madison can't wait to get home from school and therapy today and play with her "Big Red Horse Barn!"

Halloween Package from Nana and Pop!

Madison was VERY excited to find a package sitting at our front door when we got home from school.

She loved her card and...

the coloring books, Fall books, Halloween necklaces, and matching outfits for her and Jocelyn.
Jocelyn fell asleep on our ride home from our friend's house. Even though she missed out on the fun of opening the package she was very happy to see everything when she woke up from a much needed nap.
****************************
Thank you so much Nana and Pop for the GREAT Halloween package. The girls are already wearing the necklaces and coloring in the coloring books. We have even read the books. Madison has also already picked out one of her new outfits to wear to school tomorrow.

Pumpkin Cupcakes

When I was at the Commissary today, I saw these adorable pumpkin cupcakes. I just couldn't resist getting them for the girls.

After dinner the girls got to eat them.

Madison was very ladylike at first, but then....

she got more aggressive.

Fire Chief Pumpkin

Since Madison is studying "Fire Safety" and "Pumpkins" this month at school, we just had to get this "Fire Chief Pumpkin" for her class.

We are going to take him to school tomorrow to meet all of the kids in Madison's class.

We are hoping that he enjoys his new home in Madison's classroom.

Halloween Crafts

Madison and I worked on our Halloween Crafts this afternoon while Jocelyn was napping.

This is a magnetic pumpkin photo frame. It will look even better when it is filled with a picture of the girls in their costumes.

Madison made this Halloween Craft for Mrs. Hunter. The bat's wings are her handprints.

Longwood Elementary Open House

Tonight was the Longwood Elementary Open House. Madison got to take us on a tour of her classroom and show us all of the projects she has been working on. She was very excited that Jocelyn and Daddy got to come see her classroom.

The kids finger painted the leaves. Madison's rake is the blue one in the middle.

This is a picture of the person that Madison made during "All About Me" Week. Madison's person is the only one that had hair and lots of it.

Today they made "Fire is dangerous" signs with tissue paper flames. (If the writing looks familiar it is because I wrote them all on Monday when I was volunteering.)

Madison's Fire Truck!

Jocelyn loved getting to ride the horse.

The finished Fire Truck that they painted on Monday.

Baseball Madison driving the Fire Truck.

After we saw everything inside, Madison took us outside to show Jocelyn and Daddy were she plays.

Boo-tiful Cards!

Halloween is just around the corner, so the girls and I have begun working on our Halloween crafts. Today we made these "Boo-tiful" Halloween Cards.

We put white paint on the girls' feet and made ghosts on the front of the cards.

The inside of the cards say, "Have a Boo-tiful Halloween!"
