Quick trip to Sarasota

This past weekend we drove to Sarasota, Florida.  

Baxter enjoyed sleeping on my pillow during the drive.

Jocelyn ordered a slice of cake at Yoder's!  She was shocked to see how BIG it was.

We also did some shopping to get inspired to host Levi's 5th Superhero Birthday Party at our house next weekend.

Happy 58th Birthday Grandma!

Today is Grandma's 58th Birthday!

We are so happy that we could come down to celebrate her birthday with her.  

Grandma is still lots of FUN even at 58!

Our whole family went to brunch at the Broken Egg.  

Then we came home to swim and open gifts.  

Winshape Camp

This week the girls went to Winshape Camp at Sarasota Alliance Church with their cousins.

 Today I got to go along with the girls to camp.  I would recommend Winshape Camp to everyone.  The girls had an amazing week and learned so much.  The counselors are so energetic and great with the kids. 

The girls got their fingernails painted while we waited for all of the children to arrive.

Jocelyn chose blue nails to support the Ocean team.  

The girls had Wacky Science together.  Today they made ice cream.

Jocelyn is busy shaking her ice cream.  

The girls loved making and eating their homemade ice cream!

Then I got to go to painting and crafts with Jocelyn.

I got to help her make a flag today.

She got to make her own catapult this week and even won the catapult contest.

She is very serious about her crafting.

 Jocelyn won the "Crafter of the Week" award!

I got to go to a Tea Party at Girl World with Madison and Mia.

Princess Madison also enjoyed taking dance class at camp.

We got to eat Chick-fil-a for lunch.  What a great week at Winshape Camp!  The girls are already looking forward to camp next summer.  

Camp Week

The girls are at camp this week at Grandma and Granddaddy's church.

Spa Day!

Madison got a pedicure set for Christmas from the Porter's & Edward's.

Fishing with Granddaddy

Granddaddy took the girls fishing at the little pond in their backyard. It took us awhile to figure out what to use for bait. First, we tried bologna, bacon and bread. Finally, we switched to roast beef and we started catching fish like crazy.

The girls had so much fun catching their first fish. They can't wait to go fishing again.

Living Nativity

The girls were so excited about going to the Living Nativity tonight, that they decided to have a "Stuffy Nativity" at home this afternoon.

Snowflake the white pony was the angel overlooking the manger scene.

Each stuffed animal was a different character.

Dots and Rainbow were shepherds watching the sheep.

The Dairy Fairy was just a plain cow in the fields.

Rudolph was the donkey.

Baby Jaguar, Scooby-Doo, and Cupid were the three wise men.

Joseph was played by Spikey.

Mary was played by Snuggle Puppy.

Baby Jesus was played by Summer and wrapped in toilet paper swaddling clothes.

Their excitement continued when they decided to dress up as Mary and an angel to go to the Living Nativity.

The girls were amazed to see camels at the Living Nativity.

They loved seeing the angel fly in.
