Sand and Shaving Cream!

Jocelyn has been working on the letter S this week, so we wrote our letters in sand!

Madison practiced her spelling words in sand!

Silly in Shaving Cream!

Silly Shaped Sandwich!

This week is S Week at Jocelyn's preschool. She did a SUPER job taking her time and writing her S's this week. She couldn't wait to take her homework in to show Mrs. Mary.

This week Madison will be reading Seal's Silly Sandwich to Jocelyn's preschool class.

We made Silly Shaped Peanut Butter and Strawberry Jelly Sandwiches for a special snack to eat after the story.

Silly String

We finished off "S Week" with Silly String!

Daddy and Jocelyn covered Madison and I in Silly String.

Star Stenciling

For "S Week" we sponge painted wooden stars. Then we had some fun with stencils.

Madison made the pink and purple star.

Jocelyn made the red and black star.

Salt and Shaving Cream

We decided to practice writing our Ss's in Salt and Shaving Cream today.

Salt writing is SUPER!

Then we wrote in the shaving cream. Madison smelled the shaving cream and accidentally ended up getting a little shaving cream mustache.

When I cleaned off her mustache, she decided she needed a beard. ;)

Soap Art

Today for "S Week" we made Soap Art!

I gave each of the girls a stack of black paper and a travel size bar of white soap.

They had a blast making tons of pictures.

Madison made a picture of herself with "snuggle puppy."

Jocelyn made a picture of Spookley the Square Pumpkin.

Sand Art

It is "S Week" this week. We decided to do some Sand Art today.

We made Sand Art necklaces by pouring colored sand into the necklace pendents.

Madison with her red, pink, and purple sand pendent.

She decorated it with some stickers.

We made some Sand Ss's with the leftover sand.
