Upward Celebration

Tonight was the Upward Celebration.  

The girls got to perform a pom routine on stage.

Then we got to sit and enjoy the show.

The Juggler for Jesus was AWESOME!

One of my cheerleaders got picked to go up on stage and help.

I got to finish the night by announcing the door prize winners.

Today was our first game!

Madison got to call the cheers.

Jocelyn earned a grey star for knowing all the cheers.

The girls love that one of their best friends, Katie, is on their squad.  

Madison earned the red star for leadership, since she did a great job calling the cheers.

Katie is thrilled that her Daddy is coming home from is deployment tomorrow.

Upward Cheerleading

Our church asked me to coach Upwards Cheerleading.  I am trying to embrace this new adventure.  

Today was our first practice.  

Madison is a natural leader and was already calling cheers and teaching others.

Our first game is Saturday.  We are looking forward to a great season.  

Cheer Camp

Today was our Upward Cheer Camp at Northside Baptist Church.

I am the Cheerleading Coach of the Ladybug Squad.

The girls had a great time decorating a ladybug squad banner.

 Our banner was full of ladybugs.  

We had fun getting to know each other and even learned two cheers.

It is going to be a fun season with these crazy kids.

Even though we are the ladybugs, they enjoyed eating their butterfly snacks I brought.

We are looking forward to the start of our season in January.
