ACSI Spelling Bee

Jocelyn was one of the 4th grade VCA students selected to compete in the ACSI Spelling Bee in Raleigh, NC.  She placed in the top 10 of all the 4th graders. We are so proud of her!

I have spent the last few months practicing with our 2nd grade Spelling Bee students and they took 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place!  Our school was the only school to sweep an entire grade level.  So proud of my students.

100th Day of School!

Today we celebrated the 100th Day of School in my class!

The kids loved all of the fun and educational activities.  

The liked their yummy 100th day snack.

We decorated our doors.

The kids enjoyed getting their pictures taken in the Day 100 photo frame I made.

We used an aging app to age the 2nd graders to show them what they would look like at 100 years old.

Our "If I was 100 year old..." writing projects hanging in the hallway for everyone to see.

I gave each student these cute "100" cookies!
