Awana Ice Cream Social

Tonight was the Awana Ice Cream Social.

Jocelyn enjoyed her ice cream with her new Spark friends.

Madison and her new friend made ice cream mustaches for the camera.  

Madison also memorized 4 new memory verses this week.  

Balloon Animals

The girls got a new book about Balloon Animals.

Daddy helped them make an elephant, a horse...

a swan, and a poodle!

Love Serves Missions Trip

Grandma and Granddaddy spent last week in the Dominican Republic on a Missions Trip.

They worked very hard...

in the HEAT.

They got the opportunity to do some home visits.

In the middle of the week, they were able to enjoy the beach and...

relax.

Grandma loved getting to work with all of the kids.

Granddaddy had fun playing with the kids too.

Too bad Grandma couldn't bring this little cutie home to be our baby brother.  ;)

Two Teeth in One Day

Jocelyn's BIG tooth has been growing in on top of her baby tooth.  Her other top baby tooth has been loose too.  It was a race to see which one she would lose first.  

Surprise, Jocelyn lost both baby teeth in one day!

She now has a very gummy smile!

Jocelyn wanted to go buy new books instead of getting tooth fairy money.

Madison also got a new book and promised to do extra chores to earn the money to pay us back.  She couldn't believe she found a My Little Pony chapter book.

Awana

Tonight the girls started Awana at Northside Baptist Church. 

Jocelyn is in the Sparks!

Madison is in the T&T (Truth & Training)!

Fire Pit Fun

Daddy picked up lots of sticks from the yard and decided to burn them in 

the fire pit.  

We enjoyed roasting marshmallows...

and making s'mores!

Gymnastics Kid's Night Out

Tonight the girls went to the Gymnastics Kid's Night Out at the YMCA.  They had a great time and are looking forward to going again next month.  This also gave Clay and I an opportunity to have a Date Night.  We tried a local Greek/Italian Restaurant and then did some shopping.  

The gymnastics facility is huge.  They loved jumping on the trampoline.  

The girls enjoyed jumping into the foam pit.  

There is even a nice area for the parents to sit and watch.
