Christmas Package!

The girls were super excited when the mailman delivered their Christmas package from Grandma Cathy and Brittani Ann (Jocelyn's birth grandmother and half sister).

They couldn't wait to see what was inside.

Jocelyn couldn't believe that her card played music.

Here is the video of the girls opening up their Christmas gifts.

Jocelyn couldn't wait to put on her new hat, scarf and purse that Grandma Cathy made just for her.

Both of the girls absolutely LOVE that Grandma Cathy made them their very own hats, scarves and purses. The purses even had lip gloss, mirror/hair brushes and a money purse with a quarter in them.

What a beautiful gift for a beautiful girl!

Madison wore her hat and scarf all afternoon while she played with her new Barbie.

The girls loved that their new Barbies had wings.

The girls decided to save their Tinker Bell Color Wonder sets for our next road trip.

Thank you for everything Grandma Cathy and Brittani Ann! What a blessing you both are to our family. We can't even begin to thank you enough for the gifts you have given us. We are wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Snow Day!

Today was our first significant snow this winter!

The girls couldn't wait to go outside and play in it!

The reindeer that line our walkway looked so pretty in the snow!

Madison LOVES the reindeer!

Guess who couldn't wait to eat the snow?

Madison enjoyed making some Snow Art!

It is time to go inside and drink some hot chocolate to warm up.

2010 Christmas Ornament

Every year I put the girls' Christmas picture in a dated ornament for all of our relatives.

Our 2010 Christmas Ornament!

This year I sewed little gift bags to put the ornaments in.

We Whisk You A Merry Kiss-mas!

The girls and I made these for Jocelyn's teachers this year for Christmas. Click here to find out how to make your own.

Peace, Joy and SOAP!

Last year after Christmas I bought tons of these cute Christmas soaps on clearance.

We are giving the Christmas soaps to all of Jocelyn's classmates and high school helpers this year for Christmas.

We are wishing them a Happy Holidays full of peace, joy and (hope) SOAP!

Money Tree

I was looking for a unique way to give money as a gift this year and saw this cute idea for a MONEY TREE!

Click here to see how to make your own.

Who wouldn't want to find a MONEY TREE under their
CHRISTMAS TREE?

I am still waiting for MONEY to grow on this MONEY TREE! ;)

Snow and Reindeer Cupcakes!

The girls were super excited to discover that the rain turned to SNOW this morning!
(Jocelyn is trying to eat snow off of her glove.)

We were sad that the snow wasn't sticking to the ground, but Madison was happy to find a leaf with snow on it. We enjoyed watching the snow fall for about four hours today before it stopped.

Our neighbor also brought over these cute Reindeer cupcakes for the girls this afternoon!
