Halloween Candy Wreaths!

The girls and I made these Halloween Candy Wreaths to give to their teachers this year!

We bought foam wreath forms from the Dollar Store and covered them with ribbon. Then we started gluing on all of the candies. We bought basic black wreath hangers and glued on some cute Halloween wooden cut-outs.

We spent the majority of the weekend running errands and catching up on chores around our "pumpkin" house.

We also enjoyed playing with our new toy. ;)

Fred said, "Let's go!"

Vilma was thinking of mysteries.

All I Am Project

Madison's class is reading the book All I Am this week at school.
Jocelyn and I have gone in every morning this week to help the students in Madison's class complete a special project related to the book. On Monday we traced their bodies on paper and made up a name for our paper people. On Tuesday we wrote sentences about what our paper people like. Today we began decorating and coloring our paper people. Here are some pictures of our fun this morning:

Today we took the girls Ice Skating for the first time!

Madison couldn't wait to hit the ICE!

Madison and Daddy had tons of FUN!

Jocelyn wasn't to sure about ice skating, but she finally decided to give it a try.

She was all SMILES until...

she fell and took Daddy out!

Madison enjoyed cheering for Daddy and Sissy!

Madison LOVED Ice Skating and wants to start taking lessons. :)

Scarecrow!

Today we took the girls to the McDonald Garden Center to make our own scarecrow!

The girls did a great job helping Daddy stuff the scarecrow with hay. They also had tons of fun picking out the clothes for our scarecrow to wear.

Madison LOVES our scarecrow!

Jocelyn can't wait to take him home.

We hope our scarecrow doesn't scare all of our neighbors! ;)
