CC Crafters - Christmas Plates

Today we had a record number of 30 kids at CC Crafters to make Christmas Plates! 

Each child got to design their own Christmas plate. 

We also had fun making a baby Jesus out of a wooden spoon.  

We wrapped Him in swaddling clothes aka toilet paper and laid Him in the hay.

Now that is a lot of swaddling clothes.  

Time to decorate our Christmas plates.

We worked up an appetite so we did a food craft.

We made a manger filled with hay for our Baby Jesus cookie to lay in.  

They were so cute and delicious.  The kids thought it was funny that they got to eat baby Jesus.  I told them now Jesus is in your heart and your tummy.  ;)

Here are the finished Christmas plates.  They all did a great job and were so creative.  

We picked two Crafters of the Week this week since our group was so big.  

A Real Christmas Tree

The girls picked out their own real Christmas Tree this year.  

They even picked out all of the decorations for their tree.

They love their finished Christmas Tree!

They put it in the homeschool room so that they can enjoy it while they work.  

They can't wait to put some Christmas gifts under their tree.

I wonder what they will come up with next year.  

So pretty!

Baxter likes the Christmas Tree too.

He thought all of the ornaments were new toys for him.

He quickly learned they weren't for him.  

He decided to take a nap under the Christmas Tree instead.  

Cowgirls

Miss Celina let Madison ride the new Paint Pony today.

She also let Jocelyn ride Leo all by herself.

Jocelyn has been riding with Madison, but was excited to ride alone today.  

They all got to help herd the cows and then Madison got to sort them.  

We might have two cowgirls in the family now.
