Gymnastics Kid's Night Out

Tonight the girls went to the Gymnastics Kid's Night Out at the YMCA.  They had a great time and are looking forward to going again next month.  This also gave Clay and I an opportunity to have a Date Night.  We tried a local Greek/Italian Restaurant and then did some shopping.

The gymnastics facility is huge.  They loved jumping on the trampoline.

The girls enjoyed jumping into the foam pit.

There is even a nice area for the parents to sit and watch.

Madison's Endoscopy

Yesterday afternoon we drove to Jacksonville, Florida.  Madison is being seen by a GI specialist there.  The doctors are concerned because she is having issues swallowing and has lost weight over the last few months.  She now weighs less than Jocelyn even though Jocelyn is one year younger and 3 inches shorter.

Daddy booked us a hotel room with a great view of the river.

We walked to the Jacksonville Landing to eat dinner.
(The Wolfson Children's Hospital is the building above Jocelyn's head.)

Since Madison wasn't able to eat or drink anything after midnight, Daddy let her order a special room service dessert.  Yummy!

We had to be at the hospital at 7:15 am.  Madison got changed into her hospital gown and socks.  She didn't really like the outfit, but all of the people were very nice.

She got to play in the waiting room until it was time to meet with the doctors.

We are so glad that Daddy Doctor was able to make the trip with us.

Silly picture of what we thought Madison would look like after the procedure.

BIG KISSES for Madison before she went in for her endoscopy and biopsies.

She did great during the procedure.  The doctor said everything looked good, but we won't get the results of the biopsies until next week.

Madison is doing well and is keeping liquids down, but needs to take it easy and add food back slowly to her diet.

C7 Ranch

Today Madison started horse riding lessons at the C7 Ranch in Hihira, Georgia.

She put on her cowgirl hat and...

new boots!

Cowgirl Madison is ready to ride!

C7 Ranch is beautiful and only about 15 minutes away from our house.

Madison learned about the 4 types of brushes and got the horse ready to ride.

By the fourth hoof, she was doing it all by herself.  It was nice to see our girly girl getting dirty and enjoying it. ;)

Madison even learned how to saddle the horse and lead it to the pasture.

Madison was very focused on her riding.  She learned how to start, stop and turn the horse.

She looked like a pro on the horse.

Her teacher was very impressed with how well she did for her first lesson.

Madison can't wait to ride again next Monday.

Madison and Leo!

Cowgirl Madison needed a rest after a hot morning riding at the C7 Ranch!

YMCA Gymnastics

This afternoon Jocelyn started gymnastic at the YMCA.

She loved her class and is looking forward to going back next week.

Love Serves Mission Trip

Please join us in praying for my parents as they are in the Dominican Republic on a Missions Trip with Love Serves International.  We can't wait to see what God has in store for this week.

Wild and Wet Weekend

First, we went to Wild Adventures.
The girls raced each other down Toucan Alley.

We stopped by the petting zoo.

The animals are so soft.

Daddy decided to ride the Firecracker.

Silly Daddy was pretending to scream and be scared.

The Splash Park was opened late, so we played in the water until 9:00pm.  The girls wanted to see Daddy stand under the giant bucket of water.  Here it comes!

Daddy got soaked!

The next day we headed to the community pool and splash pad.

Madison the mermaid!
