Standardized Test Results!

Madison was excited to get her standardized testing results in the mail today. We celebrated her hard work with dinner at Boston Market and dessert at Love in a Cup. Then we rented Gnomeo and Juliet to watch when we got home.

Madison enjoys editing her grammar sentences with these cool magnetic punctuation marks.

The girls went on a "noun hunt" around the house.

Jocelyn can't wait to show Daddy all of the words she stamped today.

The girls enjoyed hula hooping for indoor recess today.

Hooray for another great day of homeschooling!

Licorice Letters & Alphabet Bead Bottles

The girls wrote about our family in their journals today.

Madison wrote:

I love butterflies.

Jojo loves ladybugs.

Mommy loves me.

Daddy loves back rubs.

Jocelyn has been working on the Letter L this week, so she made Licorice Letters.

Madison made the whole alphabet out of licorice.

The girls loved playing Alphabet Bead Bottle Search at Word Work Center today.

Madison made a Family Birthday Bar Graph in math today.

First Day of School!

The girls and I are excited that it is the first day of school!

We will be spending a lot of time in our school room this year:

The girls enjoyed all of our activities today, but their favorite was "What Did You Roll?" in Math Center.

Madison decided it would be more FUN to roll the BIG foam dice down the stairs. ;)
